The Hungry Moose is a sports bar with NHL hockey and Rugby League on demand (ask your server or email us for details). We also have live Chunichi Dragons games as well as the full J-Sports line up including Super 15 Rugby!
It's a safe bet that we will be showing all major sporting events or big games that are happening... live whenever possible. But feel free to ask us about any games that you are interested in. If we can get the feed, and it doesn't conflict with other events, chances are we can show it for you.
Enjoy the food, the drink, and of course, the game at Nagoya's favourite sports bar!
Policy for Popular Games
"Food Ticket System" in lieu of seating fee for popular games
At The Hungry Moose, we normally do not charge a seating fee for sports viewing.
However, for certain events, that are expected to be particularly busy, we may introduce a "Food Ticket System".
This may apply to high-profile international sporting events, popular combat sports events, major sporting events that attract worldwide attention, and special screenings outside our regular business hours.
Details will be announced separately.
About the "Food Ticket System"
Upon arrival, each guest will purchase ¥2,000 worth of food tickets (tax included), provided as two ¥1,000 tickets.*
The food tickets can be used toward your food and drinks on the day of the event.
If you do not use all of your tickets on the day, any remaining tickets can be used on a later visit.
*One ¥1,000 food ticket can be used for every ¥2,000 spent on food and drinks (tax included). If you spend ¥4,000 or more per person, both tickets (¥2,000 in total) can be used on the day.
About Reservations
During busy periods, if you do not arrive within 30 minutes of your reservation time and we have not heard from you, we may release your table to other guests.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible.
If you will be late or need to cancel your reservation, please contact us in advance by phone or other means.
